Chair Cover Cleaning and Care
Dear Valued Customer,
You have received your wholesale chair covers, but Chair Cover Warehouse wanted to go a step further to help you. Your covers are brand new and have not been washed yet, and they most likely have some wrinkles from the shipping process. In order to wash and care for theses linens, it is important to go through a couple of preliminary steps.
The first thing you want to do with your covers is to wash them. We have found the most effective way to wash covers in a standard washer is washing in batches of 20 covers. Chair covers need less soap then regular loads. Using about a fourth of a cup of soap gets covers surprisingly clean. Using the extra rinse cycle is also important to make sure all of the soap gets washed out.
When drying the covers, it is best to do amounts of 15 covers at a time. The covers should not be over dried because it increases wrinkles if the covers are in the dryer too long. When you take the covers out, they should be immediately hung up. Generally we encourage our customers to iron the covers the first time they use them, and as the covers are washed more often, they begin to become increasingly more wrinkle-resistant.
The sashes you are receiving can be steam ironed in groups of 5 at a time for organza, and 2 at a time for satin. When steaming the satin sashes we have found best that they are steam ironed on the matte side. Wash sashes in the amount of 50 sashes in a single standard load. When drying satin sashes we suggest you do not use dryer sheets but instead use liquid softener, dryer sheets can sometimes stain satin sashes.
